Kenshin, on the other hand, is a former assassin seeking redemption for his past sins. With his reverse-blade sword, he aims to protect the innocent and uphold justice without taking lives. Kenshin's pacifist resolve and incredible swordsmanship intrigue Sanosuke, eventually leading to a profound mutual respect.
