Description
Discover the iconic Panzer IV series, the backbone of German armored forces throughout World War II, now available as a detailed model kit from AK Interactive. This kit features the D type, the first mass-produced version of the Panzer IV, which saw action from the invasion of France to the deserts of North Africa and the frozen steppes of the Eastern Front. With over 200 units produced between October 1939 and May 1941, the D type was known for its linear design, short-barreled 7.5cm tank gun (KwK37/L24), and enhanced armor protection. This model kit, utilizing high-quality body parts from Dragon, meticulously recreates the tropical specifications employed by the German Africa Corps and DAK in North Africa in 1941. Experience the powerful form of this legendary tank, complete with a detailed chassis, multi-part suspension, and separate rubber road wheels for a realistic finish. The engine deck hatch is designed to replicate DAK specifications and can be assembled in either an open or closed position. The turret, produced with integral slide-molding for precision, allows for hatches to be modeled open or closed. This kit also includes photo-etched parts for added detail on in-vehicle tools, smoke grenade racks, fenders, and more. With decals for eight different versions, you can personalize your model to match historical units. Order now and bring a piece of history to your collection.
