The remainder found their way to Canada through the United Kingdom as lend-lease aircraft, earning the nickname Vanguard. Initially allocated to the Air Force of the Republic of China in February 1942, many of these aircraft were lost in transit or training accidents, with only a few reaching the National Revolutionary Army. Despite seeing actual combat and engaging with Japanese Army aircraft, most were destroyed in air raids while grounded, leading to their retirement without notable achievements.
