Introducing the Saint-Chamond, the second French heavy tank of the First World War! With 400 units manufactured between April 1917 and July 1918, this tank was born out of commercial rivalry. However, its design was deemed inadequate, with its `caterpillar` tracks being a major weakness. But fear not, later models sought to rectify these flaws by improving the track shoes, frontal armor, and installing a more effective 75mm Mle 1897 field gun.
