Originating from the 1930s, the BA-20 was designed for use by headquarters, staff, reconnaissance, and communications units. It boasts a rich history, being developed from the civilian GAZ-M1 car, which in turn was based on a Ford design, and produced by the renowned GAZ vehicle manufacturer in Nizhny Novgorod. This model kit brings the BA-20 to life, with its production commencing in 1935 and the chassis and body construction taking place at the Nizhny Novgorod and Vyksinskiy plants respectively.
Upon completion, the model measures an impressive 128mm in length and 50.8mm in width, making it a standout addition to any collection. The kit is composed of over 150 parts, all molded in a light brown color that highlights its refined details. Model builders will appreciate the multi-slide moulded turret and hull, the inclusion of photo-etched parts for added realism, and the rubber tires that give it an authentic touch.
