Known also as the MS-1 (Maliy Soprovozhdeniya-Perviy, translating to "First Small Support"), this model represents a significant piece of armored vehicle development. Produced between 1928 and 1931, the T-18 was inspired by the Renault FT and enhanced with a vertically sprung suspension. Although the T-18 and its derivatives didn't achieve great success, they were pivotal in providing Soviet industry with invaluable experience in armored vehicle design. This period also saw the adoption of several foreign tank designs for production.
This model kit comes with all parts molded in a tan plastic, complemented by light brown individual link tracks for a realistic look.
