The incorporation of numerous clear parts in the nose, shield, and wings casts a demonic silhouette that starkly contrasts with Unit 1, setting this version apart with its striking red main color complemented by vivid orange clear parts. Built on the same frame as Unit 1, this kit boasts an exceptional degree of posability upon completion. Each joint is designed with a standard 5mm shaft or hole, ensuring compatibility with Kotobukiya’s "M.S.G Gigantic Arms" and "Hexa Gear" series for endless customization possibilities. The exterior is adorned with an abundance of hard points featuring 3mm holes, complete with detail covers for a sleek look when not in use. The versatile frame system serves as an excellent foundation for creating your own unique transforming robots by integrating it with other items from Kotobukiya’s extensive model-kit customization lineups.

The Garudagear can seamlessly transition from its fighter mode to humanoid mode, with the wing capable of switching from a normal swept wing to a forward wing configuration. The armor is detachable, allowing the robot to be used as a highly flexible frame unit for customization. Included landing gear enables the recreation of a landed pose, enhancing display options. The right forearm armor opens to reveal a gatling gun, while the left arm is outfitted with a newly molded shield. The innovative laser blades located on the left and right thighs can be combined to form a twin laser blade weapon, adding to the model's arsenal. The lower part of the fighter plane nose is designed to open and close, with a built-in machine gun that can be deployed for action scenes. Connect the assault effect parts to the muzzle to simulate a fighter-style assault scene, bringing dynamic action to your display. The model also features holes for attaching it to a flying base or Neo Flying Base in both fighter and humanoid modes, offering versatile display possibilities (bases are sold separately).
