Its service extended through the Korean War, the Berlin Blockade air operations, the early stages of the Vietnam War, and it was even provided to the Japan Air Self-Defense Force and the Republic of China Air Force. Today, several of these historic aircraft continue to serve in the private sector, particularly in Canada and other countries as transport aircraft.
